Our Approach
Compassionate and Evidence-Based Care
At SEEK, we combine compassion with proven therapeutic approaches. Our counselors use evidence-based practices to help guide you through life’s challenges. From Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to Play Therapy, our clinicians are equipped with the tools to help you or your child reach their full potential. We work collaboratively with you and your family, using a strength-based approach that focuses on your talents and capabilities rather than just challenges.
Some of the therapies we offer include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helping you recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to stress, anxiety, or depression.
- Family Systems Therapy: Focusing on improving family communication and understanding, fostering healthier relationships and connections.
- Play Therapy: An engaging method for young children to express emotions and work through experiences, allowing them to explore feelings in a nurturing environment.
- EMDR Therapy: A trauma-focused therapy designed to help process and heal from distressing memories and experiences.
We know from experience and the growing body of supportive literature […] that the therapeutic relationship a counselor forms with each client can be the most powerful tool for helping clients change.
